On Friday we decided to go to out LGS (Local Gaming Store) and join in to there Warmachine night so we called up 2 buddies in the hope we would have 2 ready made opponents in case there we no one of our skill level around. One said he would come the other was going out of town for two weeks but what were we doing on Saturday. Thus began two strait days of nightly Warmachine gaming.
On Saturday night I was up against some nasty Skorn. I managed to pull out a win ( a turn two assassination with an arc node and a charger) but later we found out I had read a rule incorrectly and had given the extra dice to the chargers damage in stead of his aim, looking back the word deadeye in the name should have been a clue. A hollow victory, but a victory none the less. Ill take it where I can get it.
Last night @crazybetter and I loaded up a friend and headed out to our LGS. Now we live in a small community outside of the local city so we packed up the car and headed out on a 45min drive to the store. Good company made the trip go quickly and soon enough we were outside the Wizards Tower. This was @crazybetter’s first time gaming in public and didn’t know how she was going to like it. We got a table and set-up a little 15 point game and had at it. @crazybetter’s Menoth attrition game was in full effect and Stryker had taken damage and I had lost a light Jack and a lot of boxes on my heavy before the charger was able to get loose and fire Kreoss down. A win for the boys in brown. Unfortunatly for me since we were in the store my wife picked up a choir of menoth and I will have to contend with that for the next week. Lots of fun!
